    Hi Rich,

Will you continue to publish your own themes after sharing the current one and when will it be released? Will Wei and Wabi continue to be maintained?

Yes, yes, and yes. I’m working on getting this theme ready and have a few updates for both Wei and Wabi in the pipeline. I love sharing my themes and blocks; folks get cool stuff, maybe learn a few things, and I learn a few things as well.

Hi Rich, love the work you do. A more general question from me, as a marketer/SEO and web optimization. I still often get pushback against the WP block editor and Gutenberg. It might be given their past experience in Gutenberg 1.0, and rightfully so. How do you see this evolving, and how can WordPress help more front-end developers get onboard? Thanks 🙂

Hey, thanks! While SEO primarily depends on content, the editor experience can enhance content creation efficiency and ease. Gutenberg’s improvements since 1.0 make it more intuitive, helping marketers and developers produce and optimize content seamlessly. It’s improved quite a bit since then; give it a try 🙂

When will that shiny new UI for WordPress be released. And if you know, what are the current biggest challenges to it being released?

It’s a work in progress; the biggest challenge is making sure all areas of the admin are accounted for properly in the new paradigm. There’s not a specific timetable, but it’s moving ahead.
